Dirty Diana by January James

BOOK REVIEW

From the minute I read the blurb for Dirty Diana I knew it was something I had to read!! It sounded soo fun and intriguing! Having finished it in record time I can now definitely attest it is.

It follows Diana as she hits rock bottom working as VP at a struggling record label, when a card falls in her lap and a one chance meeting at the Decandence Club turns out to be soo much more. Soon the masked stranger, turns out to be her new Boss and the fight to the finish truly begins.

Diana is hard working, courageous and relatable!! Her point of view is so engaging and ties you to the story page after page. The best way I could sum up Dirty Diana is a cross between the movies The Proposal and Burlesque. It's all the desire and velvet curtains set in the corporate world.

The connection between Jude and Diana is fast passed and fiery!! It sucks you in right from the beginning. As Diana and Jude go head to head in the boardroom its a mix of fire and ice that makes it impossible to put it down. Just as you think you know where the storyline is going, everything changes, I loved how captivating and dynamic it was.

This book is part of a series but a standalone in its own right. I read this as a complete standalone soo if you are coming in fresh without having read the previous book, rest assured. You needn't worry about catching up!
