How do you know when it's time to walk away?
When all the pieces of you that use to tie you to someone are broken
Snapped, torn and burnt there is no way of resurrection
The bridge soo tarnished it's impossible to cross ever again
It's always the ones you least expect
Despite common interests and shared values
It's when you walk away and they don't follow, that reality hits you
What value was there though, if it can soo quickly diminished to nothing
When the thought of fixing it isn't even something you want
Realising that alone, you felt better than ever having them there
Does that depict the unencessity of a friendship or lack of true depth to begin with
Taking more from you than you ever got in return
Putting your sanity first, since in their hands it was never safe
Realising saying goodbye is as bitter a farewell as is joyous relief
It never really ends though
Soo when is it right to truly cut the cord
Their still part of your life, but being privy to it, are you bleeding more than your ability to beat
Serenity, until they call you back
The only difference you already checked out
Soo as long as you come knocking on my door
Lost is all the respect, trust or faith I ever had
