Devils Wears Black does not disappoint in any way shape or form. It's to good to be true for life to go just the way you expect, everything is going smoothly for Maddie Goldbloom; she has the apartment, the boyfriend and job she's been dreaming of while trying to forget her past. Until Chase Black comes flying back in, with a magnitude of requests but only one they both don't see coming!!
Mixing familiarity and recklessness the fire between Chase and Maddie is explosive. There is just something about these two that has you grappling page after page, with unending amounts banter and sexual innuendo worth holding onto. A second chance romance mixed with a fake relationship is a recipe for destruction but this fast-paced rollercoaster ride is worth every minute.
Maddie is the kind hearted, warm ray of sunshine to the cold, dark exterior Chase Black shows to the world. Chase Black is cruel in all the right ways, at times you're left reeling, with the way Maddie just allows things to digress, however all I will say is take a deep breath and just wait......everything happens for a reason and by the end I wouldn't have it any other way.
